There are lots of photographers out there offering great deals on wedding packages. For great pictures you need someone you can trust. The best thing to do is to shop around, visit as many photographers until you find one you both feel comfortable with, don’t be afraid to ask them for examples of previous weddings they have done, or even if they would mind taking some snaps of you before the big day. If you are getting married in church remember to seek approval from your parish priest before filming or taking photographs inside.

A lot of people now like to have photographs taken of their pre wedding activities such as the bridesmaids having their hair done and the bride putting on her make-up, these pictures look very natural and are a great memory in years to come.

Natural photos are now a favourable choice with modern weddings, try not to over do the posed pictures, pictures taken when people aren’t aware allows you to avoid the fake posing and big cheesy grins. Some people also feel uncomfortable having there photograph taken and will feel more relaxed if the pictures are taken with less fuss.
A lot of wedding photographers have a second photographer helping them; this is a bonus as it means that there won’t be a moment of your wedding missed but remember to ask if you are being charged extra for this or whether it is park of the package.
It has always been popular to film weddings this is because pictures sometimes struggle to catch the complete atmosphere of an event while a video of your big day will mean you can relive all those special moments in motion.
Remember to be sensitive to people who are not comfortable being photographed or filmed, if they choose not to be involved in this aspect of your wedding then accept their decision and don’t let it become an issue, however it is normally very rare that people choose not be involved in such a special event.
