HUNDREDS of people came out in the sun to the Chad Perfect Day Wedding Fayre this Sunday which was a huge hit with local brides and grooms to be. With a fantastic range of exhibitors all offering great products and services we are sure that our guests walked away with many ideas for their special day. Our two fashion shows went down a treat with the public! A stunning collection of wedding gowns by All Things Bride & Beautiful, Couture of Lillies, Lady Fair of Matlock and Giovanna Couture graced the stage along with a gorgeous range of menswear from Young’s Hire, Slater Menswear and 1860 Suit Hire at Greenwoods. As an extra to the fashion show this time, we had House of Elegance showing mother of the bride outfits, evening gowns and bridesmaid dresses and also Debenhams provide bridal lingerie. Each of the models hair and make-up where produced by Donna and her girls from The Works on White Hart Street in Mansfield, who both did a fabulous job at making our models looks stunning. The Chad would like to send a big thank you to Trish Broadhead, who fully choreographed our fashion shows and also to all of our beautiful models for their help on the day. Also on hand on the day was Jayne Cook from The Wedding Guide who registered the Brides to be, of which each bride will be entered into the national Wedding Guide competition to win a 2 week honeymoon / holiday, so good luck everyone. For all the attendees on the day, we had these companies providing prizes for a free prize draw, they were Clinique & Estee Lauder at Debenhams at Mansfield who donated a beauty product hamper each, Creative Celebrations provided 50 wedding invitations and Debenhams bridal lingerie provided £50 worth of lingerie. The winners were Lynda Bush from Edwinstowe, T Hanstock from Sutton in Ashfield, Lisa Renshaw from Forest Town and Mike Jones from Pleasley – congratulations to you all. As you may recall last week, we had a special wedding fayre supplement where one Chad reader had the chance to win some jewellery from Smooch. The winner was Dorothy Russell from Mansfield Woodhouse. Dorothy won diamond earrings, cuff links for the bridegroom and best man and three silver heart pendants for the bridesmaids. Again well done. We would also like to thank each of out exhibitors and hope that you each had a successful day. They were: - 2010 dates will be revealed in the next few weeks, so keep a look out! |
